Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
Milk Honey Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you interact with our products and services, including our automated SMS platform, Booking Boost.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal information:
- Phone numbers — provided when you call or text a business using our platform
- Names — collected through automated SMS conversations
- Appointment preferences — including preferred dates, times, and services needed
- Usage data — information about how you interact with our services, including message logs and timestamps
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information through:
- SMS interactions — through automated text message conversations conducted on behalf of our clients' businesses
- Our website — through contact forms and general site usage
- Phone call detection — when missed calls trigger our automated SMS services
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send automated text messages related to appointment scheduling on behalf of our clients
- Facilitate the appointment booking process between patients and healthcare providers
- Improve our services, products, and user experience
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
4. SMS Consent & Opt-In
We collect consent to send automated SMS messages through the following methods:
- Inbound call initiation: When an end user (patient) calls a business using our Booking Boost platform, the act of calling the business initiates contact. The business's phone system may inform callers that a text message follow-up will be sent.
- First-message opt-in: The initial automated SMS identifies the business by name, explains the purpose of the message, and provides clear opt-out instructions. The end user must actively reply to engage in any further conversation. If the end user does not respond or replies STOP, no additional messages are sent.
- Web or paper forms: Our clients may collect SMS consent through their own website forms, patient intake paperwork, or check-in process, which include explicit consent language, message frequency disclosures, data rate notices, and opt-out instructions.
Consent to receive automated messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Consent is not shared with or sold to third parties.
5. SMS Messaging Disclosures
By providing your phone number to one of our clients (such as a dental or healthcare clinic using Booking Boost), you consent to receive automated text messages related to appointment scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
We do not use your phone number or SMS data for marketing or advertising purposes unrelated to the services you requested.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data collected through our platform is shared only with the business (our client) on whose behalf the messages are sent. We may also share data with:
- Service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., telecommunications providers), subject to confidentiality obligations
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law or to protect our legal rights
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. SMS conversation data is typically retained for 12 months from the date of the last interaction, after which it is securely deleted. We may retain certain data longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of automated SMS messages at any time by replying STOP
10. Changes to This Policy
