How Consent Is Collected
End users (patients) provide consent to receive SMS messages through one or more of the following methods:
- 1Verbal consent via phone call: When a patient calls a clinic using Booking Boost, the clinic's phone system or voicemail greeting informs the caller that they may receive a text message follow-up. By leaving a message or allowing the missed call to proceed, the patient initiates contact with the business.
- 2First-message opt-in confirmation: The very first SMS sent by Booking Boost identifies the clinic by name, explains why the message is being sent, and gives the patient a clear choice to continue or opt out. The patient must actively reply to engage in the conversation. No further messages are sent if the patient does not respond or replies STOP.
- 3Web-based opt-in (when applicable): Clinics may also collect SMS consent through their own website forms, intake paperwork, or check-in process. These forms include clear consent language disclosing that automated text messages will be sent, along with message frequency, data rate notices, and opt-out instructions.

- STOP: End users can reply STOP at any time to immediately cease all automated messages. The system honors this instantly and confirms the opt-out.
- HELP: End users can reply HELP to receive support information, including the clinic's name and our support email (support@milkhoneylabs.com).
- Message frequency: Varies based on the conversation. Typically 3–5 messages per interaction. No recurring marketing messages are sent.
- Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from the end user's carrier may apply.
- No consent sharing: Consent to receive messages is not shared with or sold to third parties. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
